Gotta Have: Polka Dots

These days you aren't limited to find one of the latest trends on a yellow bikini.  Polka dots are spotted just about everywhere!!  My lovely blouse is Jason Wu for Target and I think he really hit the mark.  It's on trend but still so classic.  I guess it's pretty clear by now that I am a total sucker for a blouse new or old, designer or no name.  This popular polka dot trend has a magical way of putting a smile on my face :)

Printed denim has been so hot this year, and polka dotted ones have come on strong.  I also love seeing dots of all sizes on accessories.  The Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is so fun, and I'm not sure I can live without the black and white sunnies!  You could take a more sexy approach with a sheer top or kick back in the adorable Madewell flats.  Man I love options! Tribal Fever

I can't get enough of this tribal trend in my wardrobe or even home decor.  I love the trend for so many reasons. Designers and fashion lovers alike have taken the style in so many directions and it always seems to work.  Wether you want to go edgy and avant garde or lean towards an earthy vibe is really up to you.  I saw the little bodycon number for a steal on ASOS and couldn't pass it up.  Black and white are such a strong statement, and I find a simple silhouette like this can be styled in a multitude of different ways.  You can easily pump up a basic outfit with a great bangle or bag.

It's easy to get carried away while shoe shopping this season.  There are so many fabulous trends at every price point. Whether you are in the market for a comfy espadrille or a wild wedge its surely out there for the taking.  I think the continued popularity of color blocking is really working for these gladiator sandals. I'm crazy about these colorful Missoni wedges, but I would gladly settle for the floral pair on the right for a tenth of the cost.  I really just want them all!!!!!

Happy Friday!!!!!  I was inspired, as I usually am, in one of the various thrift stores I frequent when I came across this lovely necklace.  Torque or collar style necklaces have been popping up all over the place and I am in love!! All of the Coachella buzz excites me to find clothes with that easy, hippie vibe.  Comfort is always a major factor when you have willingly subjected yourself to days in the outdoors, and sometimes the most thrown together ones prove to look the most stylish.  Layering is a big part of getting that easy, carefree look while also being super functional.  The warmer weather brought out some of my favorite midriff bearing pieces, and a great pair of rugged boots seem to come in handy year round.  Jewelry is out in full force, and of course a great pair of funky sunnies are a necessity!
