I love any excuse to get dressed up!  With this holiday you can take a very literal approach and rock a flag shirt or scarf, or you can simply go for blue and white stripes.  Colored denim is still in the forefront of fashion so don't be afraid to pick up those red jeans you have been eyeballing!  Whatever you do, have fun and represent your country well.  Happy birthday America!

Happy Friday!!!!!  I was inspired, as I usually am, in one of the various thrift stores I frequent when I came across this lovely necklace.  Torque or collar style necklaces have been popping up all over the place and I am in love!! These strong statement necklaces allow us to channel our inner Wonder Woman while still staying ultra feminine.  I paired the gold toned piece with a more classic look, but I could totally see this trend with a more tribal or sexy look.  Check out some of my finds by clicking the thumbnails below.  Thanks for stopping by :)

All of the Coachella buzz excites me to find clothes with that easy, hippie vibe.  Comfort is always a major factor when you have willingly subjected yourself to days in the outdoors, and sometimes the most thrown together ones prove to look the most stylish.  Layering is a big part of getting that easy, carefree look while also being super functional.  The warmer weather brought out some of my favorite midriff bearing pieces, and a great pair of rugged boots seem to come in handy year round.  Jewelry is out in full force, and of course a great pair of funky sunnies are a necessity!
