Gotta Have: Polka Dots

Polka Dot Love!!!

These days you aren't limited to find one of the latest trends on a yellow bikini.  Polka dots are spotted just about everywhere!!  My lovely blouse is Jason Wu for Target and I think he really hit the mark.  It's on trend but still so classic.  I guess it's pretty clear by now that I am a total sucker for a blouse new or old, designer or no name.  This popular polka dot trend has a magical way of putting a smile on my face :)

Printed denim has been so hot this year, and polka dotted ones have come on strong.  I also love seeing dots of all sizes on accessories.  The Marc by Marc Jacobs bag is so fun, and I'm not sure I can live without the black and white sunnies!  You could take a more sexy approach with a sheer top or kick back in the adorable Madewell flats.  Man I love options! As always, feel free to click on the icons below to shop the look.

Coachella inspiration

Top and scarf H&M, stretch cord shorts Fade to Blue, boots Donald J Pliner

Coachella inspiration

All of the Coachella buzz excites me to find clothes with that easy, hippie vibe.  Comfort is always a major factor when you have willingly subjected yourself to days in the outdoors, and sometimes the most thrown together ones prove to look the most stylish.  Layering is a big part of getting that easy, carefree look while also being super functional.  The warmer weather brought out some of my favorite midriff bearing pieces, and a great pair of rugged boots seem to come in handy year round.  Jewelry is out in full force, and of course a great pair of funky sunnies are a necessity! Denim: High vs Low

HIGH                  LOW

Denim: High vs Low

Welcome to the first high vs. low post!!!  I am excited to do a continuous segment about finding those trendy goods at prices we can all afford! While I can obsess over designer goods nothing makes me happier than finding a good deal.  I believe in investing in quality items for your wardrobe, but I don't think there is a girl in the world that doesn't love a little Forever 21.  I shop sales, thrifts, and lower priced stores like H&M so I can afford that coveted piece I've been drooling over.  Here I have taken three pieces and found them in high and low price points.  The left column boasts some pretty hefty price tags while the right side is all under $100.  Its good to know where ever you stand financially you can still stay looking fresh!
